Was really impressed with the palace hotel. The grounds look stunning as we arrived. The hotels grand entrance was beautiful and the lady on reception was very welcoming. The decor throughout was amazing. The rooms were lovely and clean with everything you could need, coffee, tea, iron, hairdryer etc. Lovely staff couldn't do enough for us. Thanks for a lovely stay.

酒店的外型很漂亮 就是設施有些老了 離新月樓和聖安妮泉很近 步行5分鐘就可以到達 所以位置不錯 因為第二天要去峰區 所以選擇了住在這裡

Hotel was stunning. Room was spacious and beautiful. We stayed on the 3rd floor. Room was modern. Bathroom was spotless and clean. Reception staff were polite. Only disappointing comment is that even though we were staying at the hotel we still had to pay for parking which I think should be free if we are paying customers.

Great location. Within 5 mins walk to town centre, a shopping centre and the train station. Hotel feels and looks grand. Oddly situated and some non-functional powerpoints in the room. Pretty comfortable beds.

I asked the staff if they could clean the room however the staff informed me that I had to let th know the night before it if I needed the cleaning! How would I know my bathroom or toilet will be be cleaned the next day until I use them. I asked for a bottle of water and they have refused. Also I had stayed there for few times and never felt this disappointed. I will try not to stay there ever again

We booked a cosy double for two nights in February. The first room we were given on the ground floor was not clean, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to our check in. The reception staff quickly changed our room which was much better. The general facilities were good, good bar service, pool / gym area was good. Only downside was the sauna wasn’t working.  We would recommend the hotel due to its excellent location, beautiful communal areas and grounds. Opting for a higher price room, overlooking the front of the property would be our choice if we stay again.

Terrible experience. They gave me the wrong room, and when I raised it, the staff just brushed me off saying they were fully booked. Beware while booking – they use multiple photos for the same room, and what you actually get looks nothing like the pictures. The room was tiny, poorly maintained, and had no ventilation. On top of that, there are no telephones in the rooms, so for any issue you have to keep running down to reception. Customer service is completely lacking – no effort to listen or resolve problems. Honestly, I’d rather stay at a small hotel that actually cares about guests than waste money here.

Great location and lovely historic setting. Good outward appearance and room was definitely good (not true of everyone though). Understaffed to the point where had to eat out and drink out whether I liked it or not as there was never anyone to serve for lunch / drinks etc. etc. Likewise, no-one around to sample the spa. Facilities might have been good, but will never know. Staff generally friendly - 1 or 2 distinctly unable to smile and off-hand.

酒店附近環境很好，離火車站非常近，距離好吃的幾個餐廳都超近，整個酒店很漂亮，但是房間太小了，空間利用率太剛好了，有點年代感的設施，不過體驗一下還是很不錯的。

Although the location and building were generally nice, I wouldn’t say this was worth the £170 a night we paid. The bedroom was extremely depressing and the bed was awful, pillows like bricks and we could feel the mattress springs. Additionally, the walls so thin that I was woken up in the middle of the night by the people next door being intimate.
